The History of the Gallery
The Gallery was started in 1973 by Jay and Vicki Ford. After a brief stint in Ocean Beach the gallery found its home at 4984 Cass in Pacific Beach. The location is a perfect fit for us. In its early days the gallery was a hot spot for limited edition prints, lithographs, and original works. Due to the amount of artwork going out the door, we opened the frame department and have not looked back since. In April 2008, the business was happily sold to Thayne Yungman, who had been a doing incredible framing at the Gallery for 2 years, his name is on almost everything framed since 2006.

Thayne has a BA in Photography from Ithaca College and nearly 10 years of gallery and framing experience. As a business owner and resident of Pacific Beach, Thayne is always open to new ways to support the local community.
Vicki Ford, Design Consultant. Vicki is one of the original owners of the gallery, and continues to work part time offering her design expertise. With over 35 years of experience designing custom picture frames, she is a true asset.
